2.9 The Sum of it All Event-Related Potentials

Presented by Darius Rountree-Harrison

Event-related potentials are generated by averaging brain activity following the onset of a stimulus and in doing so capture how information flows through the brain. Early potentials tend to be sensory, subsequent late potentials are involved in evaluative/cognitive, motor and inhibitory processes. Comparison of ERPs against normative data can help detect issues in cognitive processing. This video is the culmination and conclusion of all the prior videos and details work slow cortical potential training and work from STARTTS with refugees.
